Mundaneness at its finest.

This campaign drives me batty. Look at these people in the pictures. They look like seeing a humorous depiction of their ethnic background completely and utterly ruined their entire life. Find something else to worry about. Really. There are people starving in the world, and you’re worried about someone wearing a sombrero for a laugh? People need to learn how to take a joke. You’re not going to get anywhere in life if you’re constantly finding something to whine and be offended about. There is always going to be something that offends you. Something is always going to make you upset. Welcome to planet Earth. If someone is making fun of you, odds are, it’s probably funny. So laugh, and move on. People who don’t let insignificant things like this ruin their lives are the ones who actually get somewhere in life. The world isn’t out to get you: you aren’t that important. No one is. It’s not racist. No one is saying that they are less than any other culture because they are a costume. It’s a flipping costume. The world doesn’t wake up in the morning and make it its goal of the day to please you. So shut up. Sit down. And move on.
